SAWUSA is proud to welcome Travis Black from Karnes City, Texas as our newest SAWUSA Ambassador for the 2027 United World Games, traveling to Italy and Austria.
Travis is a Class of 2027 men’s basketball athlete (6’3” SF/SG) at Falls City High School, and he represents exactly what we look for in an invitation-only, coach-led international tour: talent, leadership, and high character.
Travis also brings excellence in the classroom. He has maintained a 3.88 GPA and is currently ranked 3rd in his class, earning Academic All-District honors every season. On the court, he has been recognized as First Team All-District and earned Honorable Mention on the All South Texas Super Team.
He is also a multi-sport athlete, competing in football and track, and currently serves as a captain for his football team. That kind of leadership and consistency matters to us, because representing the USA is about more than performance. It is about how you carry yourself, how you treat others, and how you show up when it counts.
The United World Games is an unforgettable international stage, and we are excited to see Travis compete, grow through cultural experiences, and represent with pride alongside other SAWUSA athletes.
