SAWUSA is proud to introduce our next USA Ambassador: Benzo Ahern from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Benzo is a men’s basketball point guard in the Class of 2029 at St. Xavier (Cincinnati), and he’s the kind of student-athlete we look for: high character, high motor, and a natural leader on and off the court.
A few quick highlights that stood out immediately:
- Strong student with a 3.5 GPA at St. Xavier
- Camper of the Week at a Xavier University camp (an MVP-level recognition)
- Under Armour ONE-SIX Champion, contributing 12 points and 6 assists in the championship game
- Started JV as a freshman and helped win the GCL South Conference
Just as important as the on-court resume, Benzo’s recommendations consistently point to the same things: humility, maturity, work ethic, and the ability to make teammates better. That’s exactly what it means to represent something bigger than yourself.
SAWUSA is invitation-only because representing the USA takes more than talent. It takes character.
