SAWUSA is excited to welcome Emoni Turkvant (Douglasville, Georgia) as our newest Athlete Ambassador for the 2027 Tokyo Exhibition Tour, traveling to Japan.
Emoni is exactly the kind of student-athlete we look for in our invitation-only program: disciplined, coachable, and committed to growth on and off the court. As a varsity starter at Harvester Christian Academy, she has proven she can compete at a high level while leading by example. She continues to train consistently to sharpen her shooting, ball handling, and defensive versatility, and she takes pride in doing the little things that winning requires.
What makes SAWUSA different is simple: we are not a club team trip and we are not a recruiting showcase. We select high-character athletes who are ready to represent the USA with pride, compete internationally, and grow through culture, leadership, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
Emoni will join fellow USA Athlete Ambassadors for an unforgettable journey in Tokyo, Japan, where competition and cultural immersion come together to create real perspective and confidence that lasts long after the final whistle.
