SAWUSA is proud to welcome Dakota Gaines (Chugiak, Alaska) as our newest USA Ambassador for 2027.
Dakota is a Class of 2029 women’s soccer athlete who plays striker and attacking midfielder. She describes herself as shy at first, but once she gets comfortable she “legit won’t stop talking” and on the field she brings energy and communication even with new teammates. That confidence and leadership is exactly what representing the USA is all about.
Dakota’s freshman year has been impressive: 30 goals so far
Freshman of the Year
Top 26 in the state for high school soccer
6 MVP games and 1 Player of the Game at Nationals
Dakota will represent the USA at the 2027 United World Games, traveling to Italy and Austria for an invitation-only international experience that blends competition, culture, and personal growth.
