Overview

Our Paris World Games Tour is brand new for SAWUSA—built specifically for athletes traveling on their own. To keep it simple (and more affordable), the group will stay in hostels instead of hotels, making this one of our best-value trips to one of the most iconic cities on the planet. The on-court centerpiece is competing for Gold at the Paris World Games—but what happens off the court is just as unforgettable. Athletes will experience the culture of Paris up close, including a climb up the Eiffel Tower and a visit to legendary sights like Montmartre, Notre-Dame, and the Latin Quarter.

Itinerary

DAY 1 - DEPART THE USA

Meet your teammates and coaches at your US departure airport and fly to Paris.

DAY 2 – ARRIVAL IN FRANCE

At CDG Airport your group will be met by a Paris World Games staff member. Drop off luggage at the youth hostel until check-in. After arrival an information meeting will take place. During this meeting you will receive detailed information about the tournament game schedule, excursion options, team accreditation, etc. In the afternoon visit the famous Eiffel Tower.

DAY 3 - PARIS WALKING TOUR

07:00 am — Breakfast.
10:00 am — Guided tour with a local professional guide. The tour covers iconic locations around Paris, such as Montmartre, Notre-Dame, or the Latin Quarter. A professional local guide will lead the walk and share the history behind these sites.
01:00 pm — Lunch box.
Afternoon — Continuation of the chosen excursion / free time.
06:30 pm — Dinner at hotel or nearby restaurant.

DAY 4 – GAME #1

08.00am Breakfast
11:00am Practice session at hoops factory.
1:00pm Lunch at hostel or nearby restaurant
6:00pm Exhibition game #1
8:00pm Dinner at hostel or nearby restaurant

DAY 5 – PREPARE FOR TOURNAMENT AND FREE TIME

DAY 6 – OPENING CEREMONY

06:30am Breakfast. In the morning tournament play begins. Have lunch at the gym in the afternoon. More games in the afternoon. 6:00pm Dinner & Opening Ceremony.

DAY 7 – CHAMPIONSHIP DAY

07:00 am Breakfast. In the morning continue tournament play. Have lunch at the gym in the afternoon. Playoff games in the afternoon. Evening dinner at hostel or nearby restaurant.

DAY 8 – DEPART FOR THE USA

Have Breakfast at your Hostel. Check-out and departure to airport by private bus. Depart for USA. Arrive back in the USA.
