SAWUSA is proud to introduce our newest USA Ambassador, Charlie-Nicole Backus from Jonestown, Pennsylvania.
Charlie-Nicole is a Women’s Volleyball athlete in the Class of 2030 and a 4.0 student who pushes herself to be her best in the classroom and on the court. She’s already shown the resilience and leadership we look for in a SAWUSA athlete. After an elbow fracture sidelined her for an entire season, Charlie stayed engaged, supported her teammates from the sidelines, and came back stronger. That experience helped shape her into the kind of teammate and leader who elevates everyone around her.
Charlie-Nicole will represent the USA at the 2027 United World Games, traveling to Italy and Austria for an unforgettable blend of international competition and cultural experience.
SAWUSA tours are invitation-only because representing the USA takes more than talent. It takes character.
