I want to first thank you for the opportunity and experience! I do feel like the payment process and communication was excellent. The staff made my family feel less stressed and pressured when it came to payment arrangements. The tour guides were amazing. They actually took the time to make sure we understood and comprehended the importance of their monuments throughout the cities we visited. The coaches and leaders made sure we stayed in groups and there was always a chaperone for each group and they gave us enough time to sightsee without having to rush. They had a great itinerary that helped us enjoy time wisely throughout the day. The competition was great! They allowed us to adjust to the different rules while still making it competitive. The coaching staff was awesome, with the short amount of time they were able to teach the kids some new things they weren't aware of. They had a limited amount of time but still were able to put together plays and good defense. I really loved the uniforms the players wore and T- shirts the parents and staff wore. It was an honor to be able to represent the United States in such a fashion. The sightseeing was beautiful, all the events, the tour leaders made sure nothing was left out. We saw it all. We were able to sleep comfortably in the hotels. The food throughout the whole trip was scrumptious! The people in the cities made us feel welcome and took the time to make sure we felt comfortable before we left. Because of the hospitality alone, I would recommend the beautiful cities of Argentina! What I loved most was the sightseeing and the connections I was able to make with new people. I love the way we were able to communicate and learn new things about their culture. Yes, I feel the price was worth it for the experience. Yes, it was the experience of a lifetime. There really weren't many mistakes. I feel the coaching staff stayed on top of everything to make sure we all had a good experience. Especially Jody! She was awesome!

The communication was awesome and very organized. I loved meeting new people and exploring new places. Everything was very organized. I loved working w/ coach Greg and my teammates were great. All the excursions were fun and I liked getting to see more of the world. I plan to do another tour in 2023 to visit Spain this time.

"The best part of the trip is being able to compete abroad against other countries. My son's passion is basketball. In being selected to play on the SaWUSA basketball team, he had the experience of a lifetime. Having the opportunity to play internationally and compete against other countries was incredible for him. Coach Jake is incredible. The way he is able to get the team to play as a team with only a few short practices is amazing. Many coaches are not able to do that over an entire season. Coach Jake knows how to bring the team together, get them to work as a unit, and win."

This trip was so amazing and the most wonderful experience we have ever endured! The SaW staff and coaches were so awesome and our delegation manager Lukas was incredible and went above and beyond to make this a very memorable trip! The greatest part about the trip was getting to go to a new country and getting to see all the cool towns and meeting all the new people. The price of the trip was very worth it for what they do for you on the trip. This trip was definitely a trip of a life time and getting to play the sport I love the most was even better and I would definitely do this trip again. The coaching was amazing they know what they are talking about and doing and were very helpful with everything. Everything was very easy to do (in the sales process) and the people where easy to get ahold of if you needed help and when you needed something sent to you they did it right away.

"We actually are very surprised that the cost of the entire experience wasn't more. We really couldn't have toured Germany, Austria, or Italy for the amount of money you required. I am certain it would have at least been double. Yes, the staff was easy to communicate with. I wish the trip was longer. I really love the hotel in Mar del Plata because they had a 10/10 spa. The thing I loved most about the trip was taking pictures with the Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata kids before and after the games. The price was worth and this was an experience of a lifetime.

I was very fortunate to be selected as one of the coaches for The United World Games that takes place in Austria. WHAT AN AMAZING TRIP!! The trip was first class. Our first stop was Venice, Italy for a day. Great food, gondola ride through the canals, and a tour of candy making and glass blowing. We then traveled to Austria. What a beautiful country and very nice people. This is where the UWG were held. Knowing that we were representing the USA in these games gave me a strong sense of pride! Several of our athletes and coaches were able to walk in the opening parade and carry the American Flag! What a feeling. All in all, I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who has the opportunity. Hotel accommodations, tour guides, food, and sights were all 1st Class! And with all that you will play the sport you love and see the world! STUDENTathleteWorld is a top-notch organization run by ethical and caring people who know sports! Sign up TODAY! The trip was overall fantastic. Jody was the glue that kept everything together and she made everyone relaxed and ready to roll. The kids enjoyed the experience! The uniforms were great. Hotels, meals, and travel all were exceptional. The sightseeing was good. The gondola ride through Venice was great. I would highly recommend this trip to any coach or potential player and would welcome the thought of doing this again in the future! What I loved most about the trip was the relationships that were built from the experience. I am now great friends with each of the coaches that went on the trip with me. I also have seen 3-4 of the players that went on the trip with us and we were all very excited to see one another. One athlete is actually coming to LaGrange College in the fall.

SAW took care of everything - travel, food, room and board, and entrainment - which made the whole process easy and convenient. The price tag was steep but definitely worth it and it was a great experience! They kept in constant communication throughout the whole process. The coaches were great and ensured everyone was safe. The tours were great and the guide was with us every step of the way and ensured we were on schedule and made it to and back from all destinations. I loved how everything was handled for us, the tours, the meals, and some free time to explore on our own. That was very convenient and gave us the opportunity to experience the food and embrace the culture. I would highly recommend traveling with SAW and would definitely do another tour! It was a great experience. My son embraced the culture and wants to travel more. It was a great experience.

We enjoyed the hotel in Austria, the evening BBQ at the lake, and the uniforms were great! Our leader, Jody, was fabulous. She has the perfect disposition to deal with a bunch of crazy parents and players. She managed everything with ease, and always with a smile. She's fantastic - really. What I loved most about the trip was the people I met there, I had more fun on the tours and during the tournament because I made a bunch of friends to share it with. "The entire experience as a whole, I'd give a 5 Star. First and foremost, I believe the kids had the time of their lives. I believe they all have made connections that will last beyond the trip. I met some great parents and some new friends. I believe the coaches did a great job with both teams. Having only two days to gel the teams together is asking a lot and they beat that beast. The staff (Mike, Gerald and Melvin) did an excellent job; made the trip simple and easy to enjoy. They were very personable, easy and open to conversation. The tour guides Karen, Suzanna and the bus driver Addis, a great crew, friendly crew. Kept everyone on point and on schedule. As a whole, the staff did an amazing job ensuring plans were scheduled, bus routes were distributed. Pretty much stress free trip. Mike is an amazing Leader. Had an amazing time with him. Hope he gets his well due rest. There is a lot of stress in dealing with such an event and responsibility. He handled it like a Pro's Pro! Gerald was our coach, SAWUSA EAST! Excellent communicator, Excellent coach. Upfront and honest about his expectations and commitments. Love his coaching style, always teaching. Great percent of coaches today don't teach basketball, that is not an issue with Coach Gerald. Communication was grade A. As a parent on the East, I appreciate his efforts as a mentor and coach!!! I had limited time with Melvin, but the time I was I was in his presence, very down to earth guy, coach. Love his energy on the court. Excellent teacher of the game. I don't believe safety was ever an issue. We always traveled in groups. When we were not in large groups, we operated by the buddy system. The athletic competition was better than i thought it would be. Loved the uniforms. Loved the sightseeing. The destinations, we enjoyed very much. Those memories will never be forgotten. Do wish we could have had more time in Venice but we did enjoy ourselves for the time we had. The hotels were very nice, clean, great breakfasts and for the size of the beds, they were quite comfy. What I loved most about the trip was my son had an amazing time. His first time out of the country, we are all hoping to attend again, this time with the wife. For the first time experience, the price was worth the experience."

Everything went great! I had some complications with my back but nothing stopped me from enjoying and having fun with everybody. The people there are very nice and the teams and people are very friendly. I was very comfortable being there it was an awesome event, especially for my daughter Bianca who did her thing on the court and became great friends with her teammates. She has stayed in touch with them too just like me with the mothers ❤️❤️??. Overall everything was great and the price was really worth it, I will never forget our experiences in Argentina, it was great, I loved it. Now trying to save money for next year!

"The trip was amazing! The United World Games provided me with the opportunity to connect with International athletes and develop friendships that will last a lifetime. In my opinion everything was on point and very laid out for the athletes and the families/travelers. Really had a great time and experience!! Would definitely do it again!! I just loved the whole experience of being in other countries and really took in the local culture and meeting new lifelong friends! I really loved the excitement of the parents/ travelers and the athletes during the opening ceremonies and the actual competition. Experience of a lifetime for me and my student athlete!!!

What I loved most about the trip is that I got to have this experience of a lifetime with my daughter. I think the price was reasonable because it included everything. Your staff was absolutely wonderful. Jody was personable, she was a great communicator, she kept everything positive which I think help make the minor changes easy for everyone. She was always visible and made everyone feel like we were one group and she met the needs of everyone that she needed to provide extra support to during the trip. If I knew she was going to be on my trip I would definitely plan another trip (LOL). The SaWUSA staff, tour leaders, delegation managers, and coaches all took care of everyone and really made us feel safe comfortable. They really made the experience more joyful. Athletic competition for the girls basketball was really good. My 16 year old would definitely love to come back for another opportunity to compete on this level. Coach Lori did a great job of pushing the girls and making them feel like they were able to compete in this tournament. The sightseeing on the trip was absolutely wonderful. I do feel like we got to experience the places that we visited.

"I went with SAWUSA to Spain and Portugal for a lacrosse tournament and it was UNREAL everyone was so nice and I loved everyone on the team (plus it helped that we won every game— and some were hard games!). I put SO much energy into the games, and it really paid off! Even without playing this past spring, I still was able to play really well and be just as, if not even MORE unhinged than I already am (I’m so sad we didn’t get video of my celebrations— cartwheels, splits, handstands, etc.). We also toured through a BUNCH of cities like Seville, Lisbon, Sintra, etc., and all the walking definitely made my calves buff. I could go on but I’d be saying the same thing over and over: this trip was a BLAST. Thank you SO MUCH SAWUSA for inviting me into this trip, especially since I knew the other goalie, @jozetterimkus. The whole trip was amazing. The excursions were my favorite part. Great job and we’ll be doing it again with our other boys. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for my son and I. We participated in the Spain/Portugal trip and it was amazing. All details are taken care of and the things you get to do are so cool. Everything was well organized and very enjoyable. Truly an experience of a lifetime. The great things about this trip is that is has bundled so much into it. There was a good diversity of culture, tours, and lacrosse.

The whole experience was amazing. If you have a chance to do one of these trips do not think twice about it. They are well organized, the guides on the ground have a great knowledge of the local area and things to do, and the hotels and food are first-rate. One of the coolest things we did was zip lining from Spain to Portugal. Having the opportunity to represent the USA tops it all off. The whole trip was phenomenal and we have memories to last a lifetime! We were able to include a big part of our family on this trip and everyone was so welcoming. The whole process was seamless. The competition was very good. You could tell they had played with each other for a long time and our team played better and better after time together. "Going to the United World Games is one of the greatest experiences a person could ever have. My teammates and I won gold at the games and it is an experience that I will never forget. The highlight of my summer would most definitely be playing with the SaWUSA. The girls on my team were awesome and they made me laugh a lot. None of us had played together before, yet we played together like we known each other forever. We beat Serbia in the championship game to win the gold and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Winning the gold medal was by far the best, but the trip was also intended to be a cultural experience. We were able to interact and play against players from other countries and visit the countries of Germany, Austria and Italy. I really enjoyed our day trip to Venice, Italy. I’m only 13 and it’s crazy to think I have played overseas already!"

Words cannot describe the pride Joseph M. Brems and I felt as we watched Alyssa representing our country playing basketball in Barbados for STUDENTathleteWorld / SaWUSA. It was just the right amount of basketball, relaxation and adventure to make it the perfect vacation! These girls played with heart and hustle to go 2-2 against teams that had played together for years! We met some great people too! Great experience all around! 🙂

My son Joseph will be going on a trip with SAWUSA this upcoming summer 2021. We were suppose to go 2020 however the pandemic stopped that from happening. SAWUSA was there for us through it all. They worked to get us all rebooked and set for the following summer and it allowed us a seemless transition during a very bad time. I would recommend them for your Son or Daughter they are a FANTSTIC Organization.

Sharing those memories with her and meeting such wonderful people on her team made it the experience of a lifetime! We know we were meant to meet this particular group of people and have made friendships for life! The basketball games were just icing on the cake! Austria and Venice were my absolute favorites! The history, architecture and scenery were amazing! Kelsey and Ruben were awesome and took great care of us and the kids. My daughter is still in love with her uniform and her name under the American flag!"

We had a very memorable and fabulous time!! I was part of the 2016 SaW Volleyball Team competed in the United World Games Summer of 2016. The team made up of players from all over the US and Canada. We are still friends and we keep in touch in social media. We played against many European teams and the level of competition was high. The trip was one of the best. It was fun, educational, and organized. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants something outside of high school and club experience in the US.

"The thing that I enjoyed most about the trip was the people. We started out as strangers and ended up family. It was great to see my son make life long friends as well as me. The price was well worth it and I think very economical for what you got in return. The only negative thing I can say about the trip is that me and my son wished it was longer. The hotels were great, food was good and you usually had a variety of choices. Having traveled abroad multiple times, I must say it was nice to have a guide and provided transportation. It made the experience that much nicer because I didn't have to do anything logistically, and we always had the opportunity to venture out on our own if we chose to. I just want to let you know that your staff was great, and I would like to say that Coach Jake was not only a great coach, but an awesome man. I really cares about the kids. He truly treats the kids as his own. He was just great. He was not only a coach but mentor, and he let the guys know that he is there for them for life, his mentorship doesn't end when everyone goes their separate ways. I absolutely loved this trip for my son. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to pursue sports and meet new people. My son loved it. He said the coaches were awesome. They give a great opportunity to high school athletes to compete overseas. Not many kids get this opportunity to see other parts of the world and other types of competition. They also make it fun by seeing the sites and learning some history of where you are traveling. This is a great experience.

I loved the energy from everyone. From the coaching staff to the parents and the directors everyone was very positive and made the trip enjoyable. It was an experience of a lifetime. Everything was great.

A big thank you to STUDENTathleteWorld (SaWUSA), Tim Ryerson, Jody Burrows, Greg Blythe, Bernard Smith, Coach Campbell and all the other coaches for making the United World Games experience life-changing.  Austin and I just got back from the most amazing 10 days in Austria, Germany and Italy. The trip centered around the largest amateur sports competition in Europe with 30 countries and 13 sports participating. While the basketball experience was fantastic for so many reasons, Austin will tell you it was about so much more than basketball. It was an opportunity to meet new players from all over the US, meet players from other countries, learn new playing styles/coaching styles, expand his outlook on and appreciation for other parts of the world, create excitement for global travel and keeping those new connections made at the games. The kids on his team were wonderful, lifelong friendships made. The family members that traveled along with their players were just as wonderful. Prior to the trip, Tim was very responsive with any questions that we had. Our tour leader, Ana, was fantastic. The 19u coaches were wonderful. Great people that made the trip fun, light-hearted. Our coach did a great job with the team... getting to know the kids, adjusting when needed, keeping them accountable, and putting things into perspective, all with a sense of humor that put the kids at ease. The excursions/sightseeing we did with this trip was wonderful, of course we would have loved to stay longer and see more. For the amount of time we had, I felt we packed in what we could given the size of the group. I always felt safe. I would recommend this experience, for sure. Watching Austin's wings expand with every day of the trip- meeting new people, his excitement for meeting people from other countries, the fun he had at the players party, the fun he had on the shuttle bus with other teams when they would sing and cheer. Definitely worth it. And for sure an experience of a lifetime.

The price was so worth it. This is a memory I will cherish forever. I couldn't fathom something like this coming up for me and it is just a fantastic experience I would recommend. The lesson in all of this - growth comes in discomfort. Your truth is displayed in situations that you cannot control, and when you can be happy with what you see when it does; that's a beautiful thing! Thinking about Will going off to college in a few short weeks, this was wonderful to see. "The trip was a trip of a lifetime.  I would highly suggest this trip and competition for all.  All can learn much from this experience. This trip came off perfect to me. After just losing the U14 gold medal game, we felt the sense of accomplishment even in defeat as we represented our country to the best of our ability and competed at our highest level. These men and parents received something that was priceless."

"This was a great way to see a new part of the world, experience great sporting events, meet new friends, and watch our boys bring home a silver medal! What a confidence builder for our athletes! I Loved watching the competition, had a great time with the other parents and players, enjoyed the countryside, and enjoyed the interactions of the athletes off the court. Coach Hutchings was amazing, He put 10 young men together as a team in 2 days. Wonderful chemistry! The concentration camp and salt mines were both interesting and moving. I would recommend this trip to others! My grandson would like to go again to play with his teammates another time!"

Everything was great! I love SaWUSA, they are so organized. They communicate with their team and players very well. I have zero regrets. I had a lot of fun. It was so worth it, the group was amazing and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The trip was so awesome! I was able to experience this with my daughter as a trip of a lifetime! We would have not experienced these great places, different cultures, food, shopping, and visited historical sites, if not for playing basketball with SaWUSA. My daughter was able to play with other athletes that spoke the same language - basketball! Coach Lori was an absolute inspirational Coach! Her ability to talk and mentor the athletes during challenging games and articulate life lessons was priceless. Coaches and staff were accessible to the athletes, professional, and fun to spend our days with, and always available to answer questions. Jody, our tour GODDESS, did an amazing job with handling almost anything that arose! Shout out to Tim who worked tirelessly to make sure we had an amazing experience. One of my favorite parts of our stay in Portugal was a tour we took of the former Monarch Palace of the King and Queen. We are in contact with the friends, who feel like family, since returning. We plan on traveling with SaWUSA again in 2023! This was amazing, we had a great experience!

When we first heard about the opportunity we were nervous about traveling during COVID but Tim has a team of professionals that has walked us through the process every step of the way. SaWUSA is a professional organization that strives to give upcoming athletes an opportunity of a lifetime to play other athletes from other countries. I am glad to say that I got experience to play across the world and play European basketball and the educational experience. It was a wonderful journey, I got to experience the different ways that basketball was being played and how much different our basketball is compared to theirs it was a wonderful experience, wonderful friendships were made. A trip that I will never forget.
