Eastern Pennsylvania Territory Opens

10 Aug 2012 / 0 Comments / in Staff News/by Tim Ryerson

STUDENTathleteWorld is proud to announce a new territory based in Eastern Pennsylvania.  The territory will be managed by Steve Polinsky.  Steve will help STUDENTathletes and families from Eastern Pennsylvania navigate the college athletic recruiting process.

Steve also serves as President of Girls Basketball Operations for the Rebels Basketball Academy.

Steve is a former assistant basketball coach at Neshaminy and Council Rock South High School. Coach Polinsky played high school basketball at Cherry Hill East High in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He then played college basketball at Elizabethtown College. After a tryout with the Chicago Bulls, he then played with the Washington Generals as part of the Harlem Globetrotters organization. Coach Polinsky coached ten years at Cherry Hill East as a varsity and assistant under legendary coach John Valore. The last five years, Coach Polinsky has coached a number of girl’s AAU teams in the area. This year, Coach Polinsky took his 6th grade team to the AAU National Tournament. Coach Polinsky and his wife Susan live in Newtown with their three daughters, Taylor 12, Camryn 10 and Kristen 6.

“We are very pleased to add Steve to our team,” said STUDENTathleteWorld owner Tim Ryerson.  ”His vast experiences as a college athlete and coach and his inside knowledge of the recruiting process will be an invaluable asset to our STUDENTathletes.  This continues to show our commitment to having qualified former college athletes and college coaches represent us across the United States.”

Evan has committed. He will be joining a Division III program that ranks 35th out of the nearly 400 Division III soccer programs. We felt they offered Evan the best academic environment, the opportunity to play a high level of soccer, and a very generous academic scholarship package. He did have other offers, including division II schools.  They learned about Evan from your website, and we are very grateful for the opportunity it has brought to him!  Several coaches even traveled to Raleigh…Kathy VogelMother of Evan Vogel, Statesville High School (North Carolina)
STUDENTathleteWorld did a great job for me. They exposed me to a ton of places I could not reach. I would recommend this service to everyone looking to play sports in College. Thank you Tim it was a pleasure. [Kelli committed to Queens University]Kelli GottryLaney High School (North Carolina)
We have been receiving quite a few emails and letters due to the exposure you provide. The video was very good. Your people on site were very professional and it was a pleasure to work with them. I will recommend you to everyone I know but the video speaks for itself. Thank you for your help in promoting my son.  [Note: Morgan committed to Guilford College]Jesse KeeneFather of Morgan Keene, Southern Alamance High School (North Carolina)
We are glad to see that STUDENTathleteWorld is generating some interest in TC!Kirk KoldenFather of Trenton Kolden, Culver Academy (Indiana)
After reviewing several recruitment services we spoke with the folks at STUDENTathleteWorld and registered our son. Within a few days of their first email to college coaches which contained Robbie’s information, we started receiving emails from Colleges from as far away as San Diego and Boston, and as close as the next State to us. The staff have answered every question that we have had, and our personal rep is available to us all of the time via, email, Facebook, and Twitter.  We simply could n…

Matthew was offered a baseball scholarship! He has signed his NLI and been accepted early admission.  After the last visit to they called within a week with his offer. After all the effort, we feel like he ended up where he was supposed to be.  We had numerous emails, lots of questionnaire requests, phone calls, and coaches coming by the high school.  [Note: Matthew committed to the College of William and Mary]Janell FuhrMother of Matthew Fuhr, South Granville High School (North Carolina)
Amanda has verbally committed and should sign on Monday.  She is still getting calls from coaches! Thank you for all your help with the recruiting process.  As you know, we began the recruiting process very late by most standards.  I did not know where to start or how to begin the recruiting process so I turned to you and STUDENTathleteWorld.  The bottom line is you delivered results.  Your guidance and assistance through the process is immeasurable.  After posting my son’s profile and video we began getting immediate results.  Numerous colleges were reaching out.  With your h…Joe RonanFather of Robert Ronan, Raritan High School (New Jersey)
Let me tell you how skeptical I was about hiring an athletics advisor especially since my son was already being recruited by so many colleges. I was happy to have [STUDENTathleteWorld Represenative] Louis Birch in my corner we were getting so many calls with offers of this and that, they would say we will give you this percentage or that percentage, what does that all mean? I didn’t know what questions to ask or I thought of questions after I got off the phone, the coaches come at you with so …Chris SchlichtholzFather of Fred Schlichtholz, Coronado High School (California)
STUDENTathleteWorld was extremely tenacious in their efforts to help me and my son with his recruiting efforts.  They are very personable, helpful, supportive, and most importantly, insightfulon the athletic recruiting process.  They provide a good service and value for the end product.  I would recommend them highly to others.  [Note: Kevin committed to West Virginia Wesleyan College]Kevin SimsFather of Alex Sims, Forsyth County Day School (North Carolina)
I want to thank you for your service, Lauren received a ton of interest from many schools across the country.  Two divison I schools called to offer her full athletic scholarships.  She had over 15 division II schools that were very serious and there were also many NAIA and Division III schools that were very interested ranging from in Florida to California.  Your service was very well worth the investment and there were many opportunities made available to Lauren.  I would highly recommend…James RobertsonFather of Lauren Robertson, Hibriten High School (North Carolina)
STUDENTathleteWorld opened up numerous opportunities for me.  The program gave me the confidence and resources I needed to effectively communicate and navigate through my entire selection process.  I don’t feel I would be playing college baseball without the help from everyone at STUDENTathleteWorld. The program really works!  [Seth committed to Dominican University]Seth GohringMount Vernon High School (Indiana)
Thank you for all the hard work and contribution that Louis Birch and the SaW team put in to help me get recruited and send me off to College next fall. [NOTE: Daniel committed to Colorado Mesa University]Daniel ArellanoKearney High School (California)
The STUDENTathleteWorld program has been very effective for me and I would not have had my top two choices with out.  I had a lot of great colleges on my college contact form because of your services.  My Rep, Richie, was always available to take calls and e-mails.  He wrote awesome e-mails to coaches and we have had a great relationship.  This program has had tremendous value to me and I would recommend it to anyone trying to go to the next level.  Thank you very much. [NOTE: Connor committed t…Connor JansenTurpin High School (OH)
If you have a parent questioning if it is a scam feel free to forward them my email address. I’ll be happy to tell them that the program has proven to do everything you told me it would.  It opens the door to college athletics.  Feel free to use me as a reference for skeptical parents.  [Note: Lewis committed to Roanoke College]Diane YoungMother of Lewis Young, Salisbury High School (North Carolina)
Jordan Fleming has committed. Thanks for all the great publicity and exposure. [NOTE: Jordan committed to The College of New Jersey]Jim FlemingFather of Jordan Fleming, Middletown North High School (New Jersey)

STUDENTathleteWorld was a huge help with our recruiting process for our son.  Their knowledge of the college recruiting ins and outs would be a huge benefit to anyone with a son or daughter wanting to play college sports.Tim ZarubaFather of Trevor Zaruba, Cardinal Gibbons High School
We thought we were doing all the right things in the recruiting process but were not having any luck.  We even signed up for a national recruiting agency at the beginning of his junior year, but they just seemed to sit back and wait for us to initiate all the work, and nothing happened.  I realized that I had to get smarter, step back, and figure out what was going on. I heard about [STUDENTathleteWorld Representative] Louis Birch from a friend and when I met him I immediately knew that my son…James L'EsperanceFather of James L'Esperance, East Lake High School (California)
You are the best!!!!! You are the best for staying in touch even when we have not. Thank you for you enthusiasm and help. Many, many thanks to you and if we can send any business your way we will certainly do so.Sarah PackardMother of Phillip Packard, Fike High School (North Carolina)
Too many student-athletes go un-recruited or under-recruited because they don’t realize and take advantage of all the options available to them.  The STUDENTathleteWorld program teaches STUDENTathletes how to market themselves correctly and find that perfect fit.NCAA Women's Lacrosse Coach*name removed per NCAA rules
I wanted to let you know we had great success with your service.  Payton received two full scholarship offers from USMMA and USCGA.  They both learned about Payton through your program and the video we had posted to his profile.  Last week Payton committed to play for Danny Nee.  Payton’s scholarship is valued at well over $200k, so the investment in your service really paid off.  Thanks again for everything!  [Note: Payton committed to The United States Merchant Marine Academy]Jon BallFather of Payton Ball, Topsail High School (North Carolina)
