Richie Schueler joins Staff

STUDENTathleteWorld is proud that long time college basketball coach Richie Schueler will be joining our team.  Richie recently resigned from his position as head men’s basketball coach at St. Andrews University (read that press release here).

Richie will balance a dual role with STUDENTathleteWorld.  Operating out of our home office in Raleigh he will serve as Director of Staff Development helping to coordinate efforts among our staff nationwide.  He will also help STUDENTathletes and families from across North Carolina helping them to navigate the college athletic recruiting process.

Richie joins our team after spending the last 8 years at St. Andrew’s University, the last 4 as the head men’s basketball coach.  Prior to St. Andrews, he coached at Austin Peay State University (TN) and Wilmington College (OH) and played D1 basketball at the University of Evansville (IL).

New San Diego Franchise

STUDENTathleteWorld is proud to announce a new California franchise.  The franchise will be managed by Louis Birch of San Diego.  He will help STUDENTathletes and families from Southern California helping them to navigate the college athletic recruiting process.

A former baseball, football, and basketball athlete, Louis joins the STUDENTathleteWorld team after a successful business career.  Louis athletic career is highlighted by playing in the New York Mets organization in ’86-87.  He also played and coached professional baseball in Belgium.

Southeast Summer Showcase

New Texas Franchise

STUDENTathleteWorld is proud to announce a new Texas franchise.  The franchise will be managed by Clint Goocher of Denton, TX.  He will help STUDENTathletes and families from across Texas helping them to navigate the college athletic recruiting process.

Clint played seven seasons of professional baseball as a pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks after a playing for the University of Texas.  He made it to the AAA level in 2008.

New Iowa Franchise

STUDENTathleteWorld is proud to announce a new Iowa franchise.  The franchise will be managed by Alain Quijano of Des Moines, IA.  He will help STUDENTathletes and families from across Iowa helping them to navigate the college athletic recruiting process.

Alain has played professional baseball since 2005 after graduating from Grand View University.  The Des Moines native has also coached collegiately for Iowa Wesleyan College and Grand View University.
