Richie Schueler joins Staff
STUDENTathleteWorld is proud that long time college basketball coach Richie Schueler will be joining our team. Richie recently resigned from his position as head men’s basketball coach at St. Andrews University (read that press release here).
Richie will balance a dual role with STUDENTathleteWorld. Operating out of our home office in Raleigh he will serve as Director of Staff Development helping to coordinate efforts among our staff nationwide. He will also help STUDENTathletes and families from across North Carolina helping them to navigate the college athletic recruiting process.
Richie joins our team after spending the last 8 years at St. Andrew’s University, the last 4 as the head men’s basketball coach. Prior to St. Andrews, he coached at Austin Peay State University (TN) and Wilmington College (OH) and played D1 basketball at the University of Evansville (IL).
“We are very pleased to add Richie to our team,” said STUDENTathleteWorld owner Tim Ryerson. ”His vast experiences as a college coach and inside knowledge of the recruiting process will be an invaluable asset to our STUDENTathletes. This continues to show our commitment to having qualified former college athletes and college coaches represent us across the United States. Additionally, we are excited to add the position of Director of Staff Development and further our efforts to better communicate among our staff.”
